Powder Mildew and Effective Management

Powdery mildew is easily recognized by a few different characteristics. Powdery mildew is characterized by the white to grey powdery spots. On some plants it will produce yellow spots and have little to none of the powdery growth on it.
When leaves are infected with powdery mildew they tend to slowly turn yellow , die and then fall off the plant. A side effect of leaves dying and falling off is can leave fruit susceptible to sun burn. Infected plants tend to produce fruit with little flavor.
