Years ago, when I was very young, I foolishly ran up debts and declared bankruptcy.  Because it took years to fix my credit and the problems were so complex, I swore I would never let myself get in that shape again.  Imagine how I felt when I recently lost my job right after incurring huge medical costs and having my only car break down?  My credit card interest had just been doubled by the bank as well.  I was determined to find a way, and searched for debt help.  When I located a local debt management company, they were wonderful.  We developed a repayment plan I could handle and I’m now paying my bills, with the goal of being entirely debt free in just a few short years.
