How in the heck did this ever get published? The New York Times, the Washington Post – sure, that’s why I quit buying their papers. But the WSJ?
So let me see if I understand the article: a woman gets raped at a fraternity party. Many years later, a teenage girl (who has no relationship advice for women whatsoever to the rape victim) doesn’t get raped, but manufactures in her head some basis for leaving university because of her hysterical fear of the patriarchy. She regrets decision. Fraternities are bad. What?
While I doubt that this ‘journalist’s’ degree in Women’s Studies qualifies her to do much more than write, perhaps she can do it for a publication that doesn’t have the putative integrity of the WSJ.

Who failed to get Osama at Tora Bora AFTER 9/11? Remember, 9/11 changed EVERYTHING. Right? Sure, Clinton failed but that was before 9/11.
Who ignored the pre-911 memo warning of an Al Qaeda plot to use planes to attack buildings?
Who paraded around on an aircraft carrier declaring Mission Accomplished in the MIDDLE of the Iraq conflict while Afghanistan languished?
Undeserved populations getting mortgages is not what caused the recession. Wall Streeters betting advice on derivatives and insurance policies and credit default swaps did. Get a clue. Bad mortgages were only the tip of the iceberg. Out-of-control, unregulated capitalism in our so-called free market did the rest.
Who failed to rein in Fannie and Freddie?? Both parties.
What are you drinking? It’s far more hallucinogenic than Kool-aid.

David, Getting Pincused is not really the same to losses resulting from Bankruptcy at all. Bankruptcy is a process that allows financially insolvent organizations to restructure and establish a course that works for their economic reality, which will negatively affect most parties. The objection to Pincus’ game is that these employees were party to the very success the company is now realizing. it’s not about fixing a structural problem, it’s about having second thoughts about how much of the company he and his investors gave up at the beginning with full and complete knowledge of the impact to the cap table. Not at all the same as losing benefits through bankruptcy advice (which will also be painful to employees).

Our energy bills affect our budget, so it’s just right that we look for the energy company that offers the most affordable rates. If you’re in Australia, you should consider the products and services offered by Alinta Energy. Specifically, offering gas and electricity to households and commercial customers is the primary goal of the company. It is taking the challenge to ensure that it can only give cheap charges to all consumers. When planning to switch to a better energy provider, you might want to consider Alinta since it is a dependable company. When you do, you may start enjoying the benefits offered by this company.

Online Loans For People With No Credit are really helpful for people looking to get their hands on money to take care of current financial issues that they are having. There’s absolutely no reason to freak out if you run out of cash for the end of the month because this particular kind of loan can get you that money you need immediately. Even if you don’t have credit at all that will not be a problem because the lenders don’t really care about that. They don’t even care if you have bad credit either. That’s what makes these loans so incredibly versatile and popular.

Soundproofing For Residential Use
soundproofing is very often used for residential purposes, and this generally refers to the windows. Double glazing is quite effective for soundproofing, as are the use of heavy curtains. Distance is often used to reduce sound and is very effective for applications such as; reducing noise from industrial processes to residential areas. The application is straightforward in that the residential area is built at a comfortable distance from the industrial site or vice-versa. This works effectively because the energy density of sound waves diminishes as they spread out, and increasing the distance between sound and receiver results in lesser intensity of the sound. For more information please visit “Soundproofing” lvk

We are still here – just not as easy to fetch.
It is basic math. From the 1950′s and into the 1970′s, women enjoyed the man being the main breadwinner. But they gave that up. For good or bad – well, you be the judge. Figure it out, women work more hours now, hence, less time to fetch a man. And….because the gap has closed somewhat, regarding men’s and women’s wages, men put in more hours now to compensate, hence, less time to mingle in the social crowds and fetch a wife.
Case in point…
I always considered myself a good catch dating advice for women many a good women. Finance guy, just under 6′, 136 IQ, friends have said I’m good looking, financially stable. NEVER MARRIED.
I rest my case.

You are correct, Sam, at least at an absolute legal advice forum basis.
But when an organization worms its way into people’s pockets by manipulating our emotions and our sense of humanity it’s just a creepy reality-check to see them mercilessly defend the lock-pick tools that most of us assumed were free for others to use towards support for similar humanitarian causes. Although it’s perfectly legal, and admittedly appropriate, for them to defend their slogans as intellectual property it also draws attention to the the viciously predatory, parasitic, and markedly self-serving world in which such organizations actually operate. They may very well win in court but in doing so they ultimately lose a bit.
