Sue and I have been friends for about 5 years and I didn’t know until a couple of years ago that she had diabetes.  I couldn’t believe that she could keep such a secret from me, but she said that it wasn’t a secret, she never tried to hide anything, she just lived her life normally.  I told her that I had never seen her buy anything in the store for it and she said that she got all her diabetes supplies online.  She said that she didn’t have to worry about anything that way and she has everything she needs, when she needs it.
