Your Dog Training Session
July 31st, 2009 . by adminSuccess is usually achieved in careful small steps. Training sessions with your puppy should last 10-20 minutes, 2 times per day. This is especially true for Boston Terrier puppies because of their very short attention spans. Longer sessions can cause even an adult dog to become uninterested and of course won’t pay attention anymore. Always start by teaching basic commands to your puppy.
Often, the sit command will be one of the easiest for your puppy to learn and perform. Next, you can teach your dog to lie down at the same time, work on training your dog to stay. Then, your dog should be trained to go near you or to come over as soon as possible. This is one of the most important fundamental and essential commands. Once your dog has mastered these basic orders, you can move on to fun tricks moves and advanced commands.
