Must Stay Alert To Football Hooliganism
September 27th, 2009 . by adminFootballing authorities have to remain Alert to the problem we thought that we’d got rid of-hooliganism! In the match between West Ham United and Millwall in a recent Carling Cup match a man was stabbed in the chest when brawling broke out between rival fans. Hundreds of supporters from both sides were involved in running battles before and after the match at Upton Park. The game was interrupted several times as fans spilled onto the pitch. The FA will launch an enquiry to see what went wrong. England has got rid to a large extent of its football hooligan image, but if we are not careful we will see a return to the bad days.
